1. Head Structure
2. Eyes
To make this straightforward, draw a sphere, then draw the eye as curving around it. To position the eyes on the face, place them one eye-width apart.
The following images show the process of creating a single, front facing eye.
3. Noses
The main thing with drawing noses is to think about them relative to the angle of the face. A smaller and simpler nose is a younger character, and a more detailed one is an older character. --> P.S. More references in 'examples' section.
4. Mouths
For mouths, focus on drawing the line in between the lips (idk what the actual name is).
Add lips around the line. It could be as simple at a upward curve on top and line of shade for the bottom lip.
Drawing more of the mouth usually suits a more feminine character, while just drawing the middle line will usually be a younger character. Although these guidelines may vary depending on a person's style. (once again, more types in examples)
5. Hair
When drawing hair, it's best to draw or imagine the origin of the hair, and draw all strands emanating from or pointing to that origin.
Practice curving lines like a strand of hair --> Similar to an aloe leaf.
Draw hair strand not as each individual, but as a group of strands (although you can add individual strands mixed in) Vary the size and width. Make sure to change the position of the strands (facing up, facing down), but still make them face the origin.
Obviously, you should erase the origin point, hairline guidelines, etc.
